Palestine's Women Entrepreneurs Need Your Support

Asma Basal and Aseel Sultan, two up-and-coming entrepreneurs from Palestine, need your help to reach their campaign goals. Help these entrepreneurs reach 50% of their goal today.

Your generous donation will help Asma Basal kick-start her income-generating project, Tunjartak Al Nar (Your Meal is on the Way), by investing in an in-house delivery system. The system will include ten eco-friendly electronic bikes and dedicated delivery people to get orders out as efficiently and quickly as possible.

Aseel Sultan's campaign revolves around acquiring a CNC crafting machine which will help her increase output and expand outreach. To pay it forward, Aseel will also make the machine available to local crafters.

Your support will impact the lives of more that these two enterprising women as the success of their respective campaigns will mean more jobs opportunities for marginalized out-of-work women to earn an income.

"For me, as a Palestinian, entrepreneurship has become a way of life. It means to take a chance and to have a business idea that you believe will have an impact beyond financial gains."

"To other entrepreneurs, I would like to say that you need to keep learning, finding new information, and adapting to the challenges faced in a local context. And most importantly, maybe your first idea may not be the best, but you can always transform it into something better."

"I am proud to be a Palestinian entrepreneur. It is very empowering for me to be a Palestinian woman and professionally pursue my passion for crafting art. It isn’t easy, and you have to work hard and overcome a lot, especially as a woman with limited opportunities, but at the end of the day, it’s worth it."

"My advice to other entrepreneurs is never give up. You will come across challenges, especially when you’re new to the world of entrepreneurship, but keep working at it, learning, meeting with other entrepreneurs, and reaching out to great organizations like MENACatalyst that offer transformational support."
