Dubai Pitch Challenge

Santiago - Dubai - Abu Dhabi - London- San Francisco
24 - 31 OCTOBER 2018 - Dubai

MENACatalyst is set to launch the Dubai Pitch Challenge during the fourth week of September. The Challenge will be open to all Palestinian tech and social impact startups.

Our partner buisness leaders and startup experts in Dubai will help select finalists. MENACatalyst Foundation will notify finalists that they have been selected to move on in the selection process and pitch at our Dubai Pitch Challenge event on Sunday, October 7, 2018.

Select applicants/finalists with the most developed and strategic business models, will get the chance to pitch their startups in front of a panel of judges in Ramllah. Winners will then be flown to Dubai between the dates of October 24-31, 2018, for a five-day demo-event to connect and collaborate with business and investment leaders in the UAE.

We seek extraordinary founders with product vision. The objective is to have a conversation about your business, explore how we can work together, and share feedback on your presentation and fundraising goals.

Startups will get the chance to pitch their startup ideas to a group of investors, to raise the strategic funding they need to scale up their startups. Participating entrepreneurs and startups also will get the chance to expand their business networks and build strategic partnerships to accelerate the viability of their startups in an emerging market. In addition to business opportunities, selected startups will gain invaluable exposure into the inner workings of venture capital firms and participate in regionally based funds and accelerators.

Accelerate your startup to the next level and apply for MENACatalyst Dubai Pitch Challenge Event before the October 3, 2018 deadline. Only 15-20 startups will be selected as finalists and invited to present on Sunday, October 7, 2018 in front of a live audience and jury committee.

All MENACatalyst international demo events are in conjunction with the DAIMN Project (Diaspora Angel Investors and Mentors Network), co-funded by Welfare Association (Taawon) and KOICA (Korean International Cooperation Agency), and in partnership with Wamda and MBC Al Amal

Collaborate Across Regions: Think about the collaboration happening between Dubai and Ramallah startups, given their close proximity to each. Or, between Santiago and Hebron because they both serve clients in the US market, as examples.
