Linkage - Nadim Alayaseh

Bethlehem native, Nadim Alayaseh started Linkage in 2017 as an online platform that offers its customers a fully integrated service to search, select and book the event services that best appeals to their budget and needs. With over 6 years’ experience in both web and traditional advertising, Nadim identified that the disconnect between clients and event service providers is a major issue in the event planning industry, he explains, “On the one hand, clients and customers suffer from the high costs of both service providers as well as full management of an event.” He continues, “On the other hand, many service providers find it hard to market themselves online.”

Linkage was developed to offer both service providers and clients alike with the opportunity to connect as easily and efficiently as possible. The linkage team consists of main developer Nadim, as well Said Harbia a web designer working on the user interface with over 4 years’ experience. Other team members include, Hussam Joulani, account and sales manager and Bashar Qassis who has over 3 years’ experience working as a backend engineer in charge of web development.

Apart from the online platform, Linkage offers event packages, which includes descriptions, prices, reviews and rates of a wide array of venues from all prices ranges. Nadim is committed to providing his users with the most competitive, quality venues in Palestine, “We strive to be a strategic partner by providing exceptional online event management skills and services to assure delivering high quality, impactful and value-driven outcomes.” Linkage is currently localized within Palestinian markets such as Bethlehem, Hebron and Ramallah. However, the Linkage team is working to optimize and increase services and features to meet the needs of markets throughout the MENA region.

In terms of funding, Nadim explains that this is necessary to further develop and optimize the UI/UX of the platform to create the best user experience and increase interest. The launch of a wide spread marketing campaign utilizing the latest digital and social media marketing tools will be implemented to increase visibility in operating markets.

Finally, Nadim explains, “The impact of Linkage lies in the company’s ability to provide innovative and professional marketing and event management services in the west bank with a focus on quality and detail.” Furthermore, “With our excellent coordination, planning skills and qualified staff who we believe in, education and training come together to enhance the professionalism and profitability of member businesses.” He continues, “We offer our clients and interested consumers a platform and database that saves time, money and effort to organize their social events in the best and most efficient way possible.”

Linkage has since participated in MENACatalyst’s Santiago Pitch Challenge and will meet with business leaders from the Palestinian diaspora in Chile to take his startup to the next level.
