Bayan’s Tktkah Khazafiah

With a passion for all these handicrafts, Bayan is working to set up shop specialized in customized ceramics. Faced with the harsh reality of ongoing unemployment, Bayan knew early on that in order to achieve any sense economic independence that she would have to step up and hone her artistic skills, and finally get to begin work. However, setting up a home-based business is another matter entirely and requires a set of specialized skills in order to succeed.

Bayan was hesitant at first but soon joined MENACatalyst’s GIZ supported program based in Jerusalem, Empowering Youth Through Digital Skills Development and was able to acquire the requisite skill set needed to become self-employed. During the program, Bayan connected with business enablers, mentors, and specialized trainers to acquire the business and financial skills, digital media marketing know-how, specialized skill trainings, and access to markets needed to take her project idea to the next level.

To accomplish her goals, it is recommended that Bayan,
-    Works with business development experts to further ideate her project idea and tailor it to meet market needs.
-    Digital marketing skills development
-    Specialized skills development, such as photography, calligraphy, etc.
-    Branding support.
